Ethan is 3 today!

In honor of Ethan's 3rd birthday, I am posting his latest GQ pose, get it hot before it's published!! ;)

Jackie turned 21 this year, and when she was in town for Jaimie and My Birthday dinner, after a group of us went to the Quarterback. We had beautiful beverages and enjoyed trying to kick eachother's butts at air hockey and pool! Jaimie and I had sore arms the next day!

Joe's 30!!!

Joe Haddad turns 30 today, Nov. 16 (Ethan also turns 3 today!!). Bonnie put on a great big surprise party for him last Saturday at Mi Mexico- I think there must have been close to 30 people there! Becki rented us a 15 person van and Stan drove... it was the best drunk bus ever! The picture of the boys standing around Toni's truck... yes, they're peeing on it!! In the Mi Mexico parking lot!! We had a marathon dinner, then convinced Stan to take us to Bobbie Lee's in Everson... yep- Cody did karaoke!! Happy Birthday Joe!!

My Birthday!!

I had a GREAT birthday this year!! Not only did Jaimie orchestrate a great present (wink wink) but I also had a lot of parties! Steve took me out to dinner, we had Jaimie and Jaisha birthday dinner the week before, Angela and the girls threw me a great Princess Party (thanks Jess!!) at Beach's, I had Birthday Sunday at Mom's, and my sisters sister-napped me and took me to Jackie's house for surprise girl's night! It was truly a great birthday and I am so blessed to have all these great women in my life!!

Olivia's Pumpkin Patch!

Yes, it's that time of year when there are so many pumpkins it's almost overwhelming! But, I was honored to again be allowed to tag along with my niece Olivia (in blue) and her class to the McPhail Farm in Lynden! This year my brother-in-law Mike also went, and Amy was a wonderful mommy-stand in for Olivia's classmate Maleah (who's darling, by the way!). We watched them ride the Train (with the farm dog that HAD to ride too!!), feed the goats and tromp through the field to find the perfect pumpkin. Olivia found hers right off the hay ride, while Maleah had to traverse almost the entire field to find hers! The field full of little pumpkins reminded me of the Great Pumpkin and Linus from the Peanuts! It was a lot of fun as always!!

Update on Matthew Miesuk... I have a picture below of him shortly after he was born... here he is bopp'n along with the rest of us at the Pumpkin Patch! And a great picture of mom and dad (excited to have their picture taken, eh? ha ha!) We got to snuggle all day and hang out last Saturday while Jana worked. We had lunch with Jaimie and tons of kisses from Shelby and Porter.

Stoney Ridge Farm 2007

It's Pumpkin Patch time again!! This year it was Jaimie, Ethan, Little Jamie, Jana, Aaron, Alex, Matthew and I all headed for a hayride and the biggest pumpkins we could find!! We visited all the animals, laughing that the 3 little piggies snuggled together were kinda like sasauges. The geese were loud as usual, and the pea hens vicious when you feed them! We saw bunnies, goats, mini horses and big horses. We tried looking for Moses the Christmas Camel but they had him too hidden to find. We ran through the apple box and jumped out at eachother, the boys screaming with laughter. Alex rode the train again, and Ethan was ready before the rest of us to ride the tractor. The boys found worms in the pumpkin patch and had to show everyone.


Little Jamie found the biggest pumpkin of them all (35 lbs, I think), she could barely lift it! We picked apples and gourds, and the boys and little Jamie went through the corn maze.

We finished gathering, paid and headed to a cafe in Everson for lunch. We stopped by Grandma Weezer's for more pumpkins- we could barely shut Jaimie's hatchback there were so many! We put Ethan down for a nap at home and started on getting the dining room prepped for the biggest carving yet! Jaimie, Little Jamie and I carved 9 pumpkins total!

We were tricky, doing some with a stencil and others free hand. I am pretty proud of my haunted house, I did the carving free hand!! Ethan likes his ""e" pumpkin, and Little Jamie and I both have Princess J pumpkins... although Dan thought mine was the Budweiser crown. Good thing I like the guy or it would have been pumpkin guts-a-fly'n!! Then we roated about a million pumpkin seeds.. gonna be munching on those for a while!!

Where did I go?

Well, I was reminded today that I am sorely outdated in my blog, so here's a recap!

Log Show was great this year as always!! There was this ticket booth with 2 fantasticly hot ladies in it... yes, I was ropped in and took a casualty with me!! Steve placed 2nd this year in Novice Single Bucking- he's very proud! He and Cody double bucked together for the first time, and Cody tried single bucking.

Jackie graduated from Eastern Washington University with her masters, so Steve, Julie and I road tripped to meet up with Mom, Dad, Jess and Chris to celebrate!


We have a new arrival to Announce!! Matthew Loyd Miesuk was welcomed into the world by friends and family eager to love on him!!


We spent 4th of July out on Eliza Island with the MacAbee clan, it was a blast (sometimes litterally) and they have the best sunsets!


Julie has a new baby- rotten lab Cable!! His Auntie loves him a lot, and he knows it!!

My Beautiful friend Tara got married... yes, I was the anal-retentive friend once again!!



Jaimie and I tiled her platform for her new woodstove... but you'll just have to wait to see those pictures!
